My story

QUICK FACTS Name: Via Age: 5 months Gender: Female (Spaying Scheduled) Breed: Pomeranian–Spitz Mix Color: White Beige Weight: 6kg / 13lbs Microchipped, Vaccinated Up to Date for Age, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from a city shelter in Miryang, Korea, where I was at risk of euthanasia along with my littermates. Thanks to kind rescuers, I was given a second chance at life, and I’m now growing up safely while waiting for a loving family to guide me through puppyhood.   MY PERSONALITY My name is Via! I’m a very affectionate, social puppy who loves people — both familiar faces and new friends. I happily approach strangers, rub against them, and enjoy being touched and held. I’m full of charm, love giving affection, and enjoy being close to my humans. I’m still young and learning, but my friendly and loving nature truly shines through.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS • With People: I’m extremely people-friendly and affectionate. I can be comfortably picked up and held. I have not yet met children under 13. • With Dogs: I love meeting other dogs and often approach them to say hello and invite them to play. I’m generally more comfortable with dogs similar to my size and tend to avoid conflict — even if another dog provokes me, I usually choose to walk away. • With Cats: I have not yet been tested with cats. (A cat test can be conducted upon request to ensure the best fit.)   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level. I enjoy outdoor activities and playtime, but once I’ve had enough stimulation, I settle down nicely and rest calmly. Since I’m still a puppy with limited walking experience, I may feel unsure or lie flat when I encounter something scary on walks. With positive, patient training, I’ll continue to gain confidence.   TRAINING & HABITS As a young puppy, I’m still learning my manners and routines. I do not guard food from people or other dogs, though I can be very enthusiastic and competitive when eating. I may bark to ask for attention or when I want something. I’m calm in a kennel, use both indoor pee pads and outdoor potty, and will benefit from continued leash training and potty training. I’m smart and food-motivated, which makes training easier with consistency.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m looking for a patient and committed family who understands puppy development and is ready to guide me as I grow. I would thrive in a home with: • A family prepared for puppy training and ongoing guidance • Secure fencing and close supervision, as I may try to climb or jump fences • A calm, structured environment with clear routines • Adopters who enjoy an affectionate, people-oriented companion   SPECIAL NOTES I may need guidance, structure, and patience as I adjust and continue learning. As a puppy, I will require ongoing training for walking, potty habits, and managing demand barking. I am extremely affectionate and people-focused, making me a wonderful companion for adopters who are ready to invest time and consistency into helping me grow into a confident adult dog.   Via's YouTube Playlist   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2617882##
