My story

QUICK FACTS Name: Saru Age: 4 months (Born on August 2025) Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Mini Jindo Mix Color: White and Brown Weight:5.5 kg / 12 lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from the Miryang City Shelter, where I was on the euthanasia list. I was scared and unsure of my future, but a rescue team came just in time and saved me. Now I’m safe, healthy, and waiting for a loving family to give me a new start.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Neutered & healthy with no known health issues     MY PERSONALITY Hi, I am Saru. I’m a little 5-month-old bundle of energy, and I have so much to learn! I can be a bit impatient and sometimes guard my food, so I need gentle guidance during mealtimes. I get excited when other dogs make sudden moves and might bark a little. I also love play-fighting with my sister. It’s all part of our fun! I sometimes shred my pee pads, but that’s just my mischievous little personality shining through.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m very friendly, and I don’t just stick to people I know. I even approach strangers, rub against them, and let them pet me easily. You can even put your arms under my belly and lift me up without any problem. · With Dogs: I’m very friendly and outgoing, so I like to greet and play with not only dogs I know but also new dogs. I’m usually gentle, but if a dog provokes me, I might react, so it’s best to supervise my first meetings with unfamiliar dogs. · With Cats: I haven’t shown any reactions to cats.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a high energy level, so I stay calm and relaxed only after plenty of outdoor activity. Since I don’t have much experience with walks, I tend to flatten myself to the ground when something scary appears.   TRAINING & HABITS I don’t guard my food from people, but I may growl if another dog approaches while I’m eating. I sometimes bark to ask for something I want. I stay calm when placed in a kennel. I can go to the bathroom both on indoor pads and outside.   MY IDEAL HOME A loving family or individual who can give me plenty of attention and patience, especially at the beginning while I learn social skills. A home with other dogs is fine, but someone who can manage my little jealous streak would be best. I’d thrive in a family that can provide regular playtime, outdoor activities, and gentle guidance as I continue to grow and learn.   SPECIAL NOTES I’m a very pretty and cute little one. I can sometimes get a bit jealous of other dogs, but I’m always very friendly and affectionate with people. I’m considered a Level 2 Rescue Dog, which means I may need a little extra help with socialization at first, but with some patience and love, I’ll shine!   Saru's YouTube Playlist   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2613202##
