My story

Callie is searching for a calm, tranquil home where she can continue to blossom. She has made remarkable progress since being picked up from Casa Grande Animal Control and shows just how resilient and eager to learn she truly is. Callie does well with other dogs and with both men and women. She would be best suited for a home with older children, but she can also do well with younger kids who understand and respect boundaries. She previously struggled with resource guarding around food and toys, but with consistent structure and patience, she has come a long way. She eats in a separate room and is making great strides in learning to share her toys something we’re incredibly proud of her for. Callie can be reactive to new or unfamiliar noises, but when gently cuddled close, she quickly relaxes and takes comfort in reassurance. She is doing well on leash, is fully potty trained, and continues to gain confidence every day. She is still learning about the crate and will benefit from a slow, positive introduction at her own pace. Callie is a sensitive, intelligent girl who thrives with routine, calm energy, and gentle guidance.
