My story

QUICK FACTS Name: Moram Age: 5 months Gender: Male (Neutering Scheduled) Breed: Beagle-Dachshund Mix Color: White & Black Weight: 6.9kg / 15.2lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY My mom was abandoned for a long time and was going through repeated pregnancies. Thankfully, my siblings and I were rescued by caring people and have been given a second chance at life. I am still learning about this world, unfamiliar and a bit nervous, but I am excited to start a new chapter of my life and find my forever family.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Neutered & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Hi, my name is MORAM and I am a strong-willed, young boy with a big heart! I love snacks and toys, especially the squeaking ones! I am curious to learn about new things! I enjoy playing with other dogs and I am curious about people too, but I may take a tiny bit of time to open up. I am still a very young puppy, and there is a lot I don’t know, so I will need your help to learn basic manners and to take walks. With your love, care and patience, I have the potential to grow to be an amazing companion!   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I can take some time to open up, as I am bit shy, but I do enjoy eating snacks! I have yet had any experience meeting children under the age of 13, but I can be held by supporting my belly and hugging me securely. · With Dogs: I am very friendly! I like to say hi and play with dog friends and with dogs that I don’t know! I enjoy the companion of friends of my size and I am more relaxed and calmer when I am with them. · With Cats: I haven’t met cat friends yet, but a cat test can be scheduled upon request!   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level – I enjoy spending time outdoors, and I also love snuggling inside afterwards! I haven’t taken too many walks yet, so there may be times when I lay down on the ground if I am scared. I will need more training to be comfortable with walks.   TRAINING & HABITS I don’t guard my food from other dogs or people, but I may, at times, bark when I want something. I may also bark when I meet unfamiliar people, but I am calm when placed in a kennel. I need training in basic manners and taking walks. I usually like to potty outside but with training, I can learn to potty inside as well!   MY IDEAL HOME My ideal home would be with a family who understands that I am a young rescue puppy and can support me with love, gentle guidance, patience, and consistent training. I would do best in a calm environment where introductions to new dogs are made thoughtfully. A home with a dog friend of my size would be a great match for me, as I feel more supported and relaxed. A family that enjoys outdoor activities but also enjoys a cozy home would be perfect for me.   SPECIAL NOTES To my future family, I am considered a level 3 rescue dog – I am energetic and playful but can take time to adjust to the new environment. I love treats and toys and am curious about people!
