Cooper

My story

Cooper will be 14 years old in January. I adopted him in the summer of 2021 from a rescue while I was single. I have since gotten married and we have a 2 year old son that Cooper has had a few incidents with, none major until recently. My son fell over him and Cooper reacted by biting him a few times. For the safety of my son, I unfortunately and reluctantly need to re-home Cooper. Cooper is generally mild mannered, although can be easily agitated around children. He’s a chubb and likes to eat and sleep. He can be a cuddle bug for sure. He has previous back issues so he is not allowed on couches, chairs, or beds for his safety to prevent him from jumping off and getting hurt. He is house broken but has occasional accidents. We have another small chihuahua he does well with, as long as their food is separated while eating. I love Cooper with all my heart and he came into my life when I needed him most. I just hope I can find a loving home for him for the remainder of his life.
