My story

QUICK FACTS Name: July Age: Around 11 Months Old (Born in January 2025) Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Jindo mix Color: White & Cream & Beige Weight: 13kg / 28.6lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was only a baby when I ended up in a city pound. Because there wasn’t enough space, I was at risk of being placed on the euthanasia list—but luckily, I was rescued just in time. Now I’m ready for my forever family!   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Spayed and healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I’m a sweet girl who still has a lot of puppy energy in me! I’m friendly with both people and dogs, and I love greeting new friends. I even enjoy playing in water—which is pretty rare for a Jindo! I might look a little derpy at times, but that’s part of my charm. It just shows how sweet, goofy, and lovable I really am!   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I love greeting new people and soaking up affection and pets! Once I warm up to you, I’ll happily follow you around, and when I bond with my forever family, I’ll become your loyal little shadow. I show my belly to the people I trust, and you can even pick me up. I’m also sweet and gentle with kids, making me a loving companion for the whole family. · With Dogs: I enjoy greeting new dogs and playing with my friends, and I tend to get along best with pups who are around my size. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit!   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level—I enjoy my outdoor time, but afterward I’m more than happy to snuggle up and relax indoors.   TRAINING & HABITS I’ll need continued guidance with leash training. I can pull quite a bit, but overall, I follow my handler’s lead well. I don’t guard my food against people or dogs. I may bark for attention when I want something, but I’m generally a quiet girl. I know how to rest calmly in my kennel and I potty both indoors (using a pee pad) and outdoors. With a consistent walk routine, I’ll happily prefer outdoor potty.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself, and a stable environment. A family that is patient with me throughout and continue to provide me with basic training and socialization. A family that enjoys outdoor & indoor time together. A family that will love and cherish me forever.   SPECIAL NOTES I’m considered a level 2 rescue dog, which means I’ll need a few days to a week to settle into my new environment. For my safety, I must be double-leashed to both a harness and collar whenever I’m outside. If you’re looking for a sweet Jindo girl to love and grow with, I’m your gal!   July's YouTube Playlist   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2601788##
