Sadie

My story

Sadie is a spayed female guardian breed mix,  is approximately 2 years old and weighs 75 pounds.  Sadie is fully housetrained and demonstrates good leash manners during walks. She enjoys spending time outdoors and particularly thrives in colder weather, showing a strong preference for being outside in the snow. A fenced yard with room for her to run and do her dances would be lovely. We have not had an opportunity to see how she reacts to car rides.  She is intelligent, alert, and ready for fun and frolic kind of girl! Due to her size and tendency to chase, she may not be the best match for young children. Sadie would be best suited for an active family who enjoys walks, playing and working with her to become her best and brightest self! She is good with the the three dogs in her foster home but can sometimes be "dog selective" and we can never tell which dogs are not on her "LIKE" list - only Sadie knows for sure! She plays well with the small dogs but she does not seem to understand the size difference and may need to be reminded. Sadie sleeps in her bed at night and is left to roam the main area of the house when everybody is out. She has learned to walk on the ceramic floors but she is still afraid to walk on the laminate so area rugs or runners will be needed if your floors are slippery. Sadie is a fun, loyal, well behaved girl who deserved to have that person who will devote themselves to giving her the love and structure she wants.April 27, 2026, 8:19 am
