My story

QUICK FACTS Name: Vivian Age: 2 years old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Jindo mix Color: White Weight: 14kg / 31lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from a city pound after being placed on the euthanasia list due to lack of space. Now, I’m ready for a fresh start and hoping to find my forever family.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Neutered & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I’m a sweet, gentle girl who loves people and enjoys their company. Volunteers and staff can tell I once had a family—so many of my behaviors show I’ve known a home before. I recently gave birth to six puppies (hard to believe, since I still look like a puppy myself!). I get along well with dogs my size or larger, and I’m smart, curious, and eager to explore the world around me.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m very friendly with people! I love greeting new strangers and happily accept pets. Once I trust you, I’ll even roll over to show my belly, and you can pick me up too. I really enjoy human companionship—so much that I can get a little jealous when other dogs get attention. But it’s only because I love being close to my people! · With Dogs: I like greeting new dogs and playing with them, and I generally get along best with dogs my size or bigger. While I’m friendly, I’m also not afraid to stand my ground if another dog gets too pushy, so slow, supervised introductions will help me build positive relationships. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit!   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level—I enjoy my outdoor time, but afterward I’m more than happy to snuggle up and relax indoors.   TRAINING & HABITS I can pull a bit at times, but overall I follow my handler’s lead nicely. I’m very quiet and rarely bark, and I know how to rest calmly in my kennel. I’m also potty-trained and prefer to go outdoors.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself, and a stable environment. A family that understands my rough past and is patient with me throughout and continue to provide me with basic training and socialization. A family that enjoys outdoor & indoor time together. A family that will love and cherish me forever. Ideally the only dog in the household or with a confident dog sibling that is around my size or bigger.   SPECIAL NOTES I’m a gentle, sweet girl who loves people and enjoys human companionship. Volunteers can tell I used to have a home because many of my behaviors show that I’m familiar with living with a family. I get along well with dogs my size or bigger, and I enjoy meeting new friends, though I do best with slow, supervised introductions since I’m not afraid to stand my ground if another dog is being pushy. I’m a level 2 rescue dog, so I’ll need a few days to feel settled in a new environment. For my safety, I must always wear a martingale collar and be double-leashed to both a harness and collar whenever I’m outside. With patience, structure, and love, I’ll continue to open up and become an even more confident, loyal companion.   Vivian's YouTube Playlist   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2598325##
