Rex

My story

My name is Rex, and Im a young adult dachshundmini pinscher mix with a big personality packed into a 10 pound body. I was born with a different front leg (you can see it in my photos). But it has not slowed me down one bit. I still run, jog, and zoom around using all four paws, and I can easily keep up with my foster sister! I am up to date on my shots and Ive been neutered. Im a super friendly guy who loves every human I meet, especially the ones who are generous with snuggles. My favorite things include brisk, fast-paced walks, wrestling with my foster sister, playing with my toys, curling up on a human lap, and chasing my beloved orange ball around the backyard (fetch is life). My foster mom says I am a smart cookie because I learned my basic commands really fastfull disclosure, I am very food-motivated and will do just about anything for a treat. Im crate trained and love sleeping under my blankets in my room. Im polite with toys, happy to share and also happy to sneak one away from my foster sister when the opportunity arises. Im truly a good boyI havent destroyed a single thing in my foster home. Im low maintenance, full of love, and ready to give my whole heart. Id be happy living with small or medium dog friends to play with, or I could be your one-and-only pup. I need a morning walk everyday to take care of my business, so I hope youve got some walking shoes ready!
