My story

DOB: May 31, 2019 Bunckler is a sweet, low‑key companion with a gentle nature. She never hisses, bites, swats, or growls, and even when she doesn’t want to be picked up, she simply wiggles away without fuss. Most of the time she’s content to do her own thing, quietly sitting beside you while you work or read, and curling up on the bed once she feels secure. But when she wants attention, Bunckler lets you know — she becomes chatty, meowing and chirping to start a little conversation. She’s the kind of cat who doesn’t demand constant affection, yet makes every moment sweeter with her calm presence and occasional bursts of personality. Bunckler loves “bum pats” (aka cat bongos) and will lean in for them with delight. She’s a big fan of string toys and is gradually learning to play with other toys like catnip squares and small stuffed animals. She also adores nibbling on cat grass, and one of her favorite pastimes is sitting by the balcony, glued to the window as birds stop by to snack on the seed left outside. Bunckler came into foster care after experiencing urinary health issues. With the right diet and a calm environment, she’s been thriving and showing her gentle, steady personality. Bunckler requires a prescription urinary diet to stay healthy. She enjoys wet food once a day alongside her preferred dry food, with her water bowl being changed daily. She also needs unscented, low‑dust litter to keep her comfortable. Bunckler is a wonderful companion for someone who appreciates a cat with quiet charm. She’s not a lap cat, but she’ll be your steady shadow, sitting nearby and keeping you company in her own way. She’s low‑maintenance, affectionate on her terms, and full of subtle character. If you’re looking for a cat who brings calm presence, gentle manners, and occasional playfulness, Bunckler is the perfect match.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Bunckler, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
