You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. ADOPTION PROCESS Before 2nd Chance Dog Rescue places a dog in his/her furever home, the potential adopter is required to fill out an Adoption Consultation Application.  Once we have reviewed your application we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet and home check.  2nd Chance Dog Rescue will only adopt to families living in the Queen Creek, Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, Tempe, San Tan Valley, and Phoenix area - as long as it is within 50 miles of our rescue (Queen Creek).   If you are ready to meet one of our amazing dogs CLICK ON THIS LINK TO FILL OUT OUR ADOPTION CONSULTATION FORM Meet Athena — the sweetest 7-year-old love bug!  If you’re looking for a cuddle buddy, look no further… Athena is your girl. This beautiful soul loves nothing more than being close to her people. She is gentle, affectionate, and has a heart full of love she’s ready to share. Athena knows sit and shake, takes treats softly, and walks wonderfully on a leash. She has the cutest little nub tail that wiggles nonstop, and she’ll happily flop onto her back for belly rubs — her absolute favorite! She would make a wonderful walking or hiking buddy and the perfect companion for someone wanting a loyal best friend. Because of her medical condition, Athena cannot be spayed and needs her health monitored regularly. For this reason, we are looking for a forever foster in the East Valley, and we will cover all of her medical needs and care. All she needs from you is love, safety, and a soft place to land.  Athena must be the only animal in the home — but don’t worry, she has more than enough love to give all on her own. &#226&#156&#168 Athena is a true hidden gem just waiting for someone to choose her.
