My story

Abra and Cadabra are two 7-month-old orange siblings who share a special bond—and they’re hoping to find a home where they can stay together. Like many young cats who haven’t had much experience with people, these two are a bit shy and unsure in new situations. They’re not aggressive at all, just cautious little souls who are still learning that the world—and the humans in it—can be safe and kind. What makes Abra and Cadabra truly special is the comfort they bring to each other. When one feels nervous, the other is right there, offering quiet reassurance. Together, they’re a team, and having each other nearby helps them feel a little braver every day. They’re looking for a calm, patient home with humans who understand that trust doesn’t happen overnight. With time, gentle care, and a peaceful environment, these two sweet siblings have every chance to grow more confident and let their personalities shine.Adopting Abra and Cadabra may require a little patience—but the quiet magic of watching them blossom together will be well worth it.If you are interested in adopting, please complete our adoption questionnaire and a staff member will reach out to schedule a meet and greet.https://hamiltonmcnj.seamlessdocs.com/f/AdoptionApplication, or you can stop by during shelter hours to visit the cats in our adoption room.Hamilton Township Animal Shelter cannot offer any guarantees on the age, health, temperament, personality or mental disposition of any pet. Hamilton Township Animal Shelter cannot and does not represent, warrant, promise, or guarantee how the adopted pet will interact or react to the new home environment.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Abra, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
