My story

Meet Luanne! Just under 2 years old, freshly spayed, and fully up to date on her vaccines, Luanne is a darling 50/50 Pug–French Bulldog mix—confirmed by her previous owner’s DNA test! This petite bundle of personality is ready for her second chance. Luanne has been loved since she was only a few weeks old, and it shows. With people, she is incredibly sweet—friendly, cuddly, playful, and always eager for affection. She’s fully potty trained and loves being a part of family life. When it comes to other dogs, Luanne’s experiences have been mixed. While she has a history of wanting to play and has plenty of youthful energy, she also struggled with certain interactions and is still working through some anxiety. We believe she would likely thrive as the only dog in the home, which would give her the smoothest, least stressful transition into her new life. That said, if you’re experienced, patient, and up for the challenge of helping her build confidence, we are open to considering a home with another dog. The right match—with slow introductions and continued support—could be a success. Luanne enjoys being touched and handled, often leaning in for snuggles or getting silly when she feels playful. Like many young dogs, she may chew or get into things if left alone too long, and she shows some inconsistent anxiety depending on the situation. Structure, reassurance, and continued training will help her truly shine. She’s a loving, spirited girl with so much potential, just waiting for the right family to help her grow.
