My story

QUICK FACTS Name: Chaeso Age: 2 years old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Mini jindo mix Color: White Weight: 10kg / 22lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY My name is Chaeso! I was a stray, wandering the streets and fighting to survive while protecting my little ones—one of them is Yangpa! I even captured hearts on a famous Korean TV show as I searched for safety. Thankfully, rescuers saved us just in time. Now, I’m ready to find my forever family and share all the love I have to give.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Spayed with no known health issues Slight overbite, but no issues eating   MY PERSONALITY I may be a little shy at first, which makes sense since I had to fend for myself on the streets. But underneath that shyness, I’m a sweet and affectionate girl who loves giving love to those I trust. I warm up quickly and still have so much faith in people despite my past. Plus, I’m even cuter in person!   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m shy at first, but with gentle words and tasty treats, I warm up quickly. I prefer a little space before being petted, but once I feel comfortable, I’ll lean in for affection and even let you pick me up. In a new environment, I’ll need a few days to settle in. I tend to feel more at ease with women, though I’m curious by nature and like to approach people on my own terms. I just need a little time to think before giving my trust. · With Dogs: I enjoy greeting new dogs but don’t jump into play right away—I tend to be more calm and indifferent around them. That said, I’m very attached to my puppy and love spending time with him. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is uncertain. During walks, I usually don’t pay much attention to them and prefer to focus on my handler.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level — I enjoy spending time outdoors but am just as happy to relax and snuggle indoors afterward.   TRAINING & HABITS I walk well on leash and follow my handler’s lead. I don’t guard my food — I even let my puppies eat first! I rest calmly in my kennel and potty both indoors and outdoors, though with a consistent walk routine, I prefer outdoor potty. I can be a little timid at first due to my past, but with time and patience, my sweet and affectionate side shines through.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me grow and become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself, and a stable environment. A family that understands my rough past and is patient with me throughout. A family that enjoys outdoor & indoor time together. A family that will love and cherish me forever.   SPECIAL NOTES I’m even smaller and cuter in person — my little overbite makes me look extra adorable! I still have such a youthful, puppy-like face that it’s hard to believe I’m a mom. I’m calm and gentle, the kind of companion who stays quietly by your side and shows love in sweet, subtle ways. Give me a few days to a week to settle in, and once I feel safe, I’ll shower you with kisses and affection. I’m a Level 2 rescue dog, so for my safety, I’ll need to be double-leashed at all times when outside — just until I know I’m truly home.   Chaeso's YouTube Playlist   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2579600##
