My story

Meet Willie – A Happy and Loving Terrier Mix 🐾💙 Willie is a charming 5-year-old terrier mix with a gentle heart and a growing sense of confidence. He’s quickly settled into home life, doing wonderfully out of the crate and following a steady routine. He enjoys his daily walks and patiently sits by the door when it’s time to go out. Willie is becoming quite the “Velcro dog” — he loves staying close to his person and keeping you company wherever you go. He gets along well with other dogs and is becoming less skittish around new people as his confidence grows. This smart boy has a great appetite (especially when it’s cookie time!) and is a wonderful walker on leash. He’s learning basic commands like “no” and continues to make progress every day. Willie rarely barks and may startle occasionally, but he recovers quickly once reassured. Willie is a happy, affectionate pup who just wants to be loved and feel secure. He’ll make a loyal and devoted companion for someone who appreciates a sweet shadow dog by their side. 💛 Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard. If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted.
