My story

Xena is a gorgeous adult tortoiseshell with a strong spirit and a heart that’s worth the wait. She’s looking for a calm, adult-only home with no other pets, where patience and understanding are the foundation. Xena has shown some behavioral challenges in the past, and while these may or may not appear in a new environment, her future family must be committed to helping her succeed. She’ll need time to settle in and will need to start off in one cozy room with a few litter boxes and comfy hiding spots to help her feel secure. Scratching posts and enrichment will also make her feel right at home. To make sure everyone gets off on the right paw, our behaviorist will provide a consultation for potential adopters as well as ongoing support after adoption. Xena may need several weeks of guidance, but with patience and consistency, she has the potential to truly shine. Adoption Requirements: Behavior Consult, No other pets in home, Adults Only Her adoption fee is $125 and includes the following: -Spay/neuter surgery -All current vaccinations -Microchip -FREE wellness exam through VCA Animal Hospitals -$25 gift voucher from our friends at My Pet Market
