My story

Meet Mouse: A Gentle Spirit Ready to Bloom Mouse is a 2-year-old gray-and-white tabby with soulful eyes that tell you he’s still a little unsure, but deeply hopeful for kindness.  He’s a gentle, timid boy who needs time to warm up, but once he trusts you, he’ll allow pets, cuddles, and even being held. Mouse may not seek out affection right away, but if you offer it, he melts into your touch. This tenderhearted boy is making wonderful progress in his foster home. Recently he’s found comfort in his foster brother, a friendly cat he adores following around and curling up with. That friendship has brought Mouse out of his shell more than anything else. Because of this, he’d do best in a quiet home with another kind cat who can guide him and show him the ropes. He could also do well as a solo cat in a patient, peaceful household. Mouse enjoys exploring his surroundings at his own pace. While he hasn’t shown much interest in toys just yet, he’s steadily discovering the joy of feeling safe and secure.
