At West Valley Animal Rescue, we do things a bit differently. While many rescues take days to respond or never reply at all, we move fast. The application (link below) is the first step and helps us confirm that you and your household are a great fit. Once you submit it, text us right away. Black Bear is one of those rare puppies who just melts into you when you hold him. He’s calm, loving, and happiest when he’s close to his people. He plays gently with other dogs, respects the cat in his foster home, and absolutely lights up when kids are around. He’s doing great with crate training and loves a soft blanket to snuggle into at bedtime. What makes him special? He gives the best hugs—this sweet boy leans in and wraps his paws around you like he’s trying to tell you he never wants to let go. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend who will adore you for life, Black Bear is your boy. Black Bear’s adoption donation includes his age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, neuter, microchip, collar and leash. Apply below to adopt Black Bear. We are a foster-based rescue with homes mainly in Goodyear and Buckeye. If approved, you’ll meet a volunteer or foster family at a local pet store we partner with or at a foster home for adoption.
