My story

Healthy, gentle & sweet 7yr old Bichon rescued from an Amish puppy mill. She spent her 1st 6yrs caged for breeding, so she is still learning people can be safe, but she has come a long way. She MUST go to a home with at least 1 other friendly dog. She instantly attached to my late Bichon & comes alive, playful and out of her shell around other dogs. She enjoys affection, but still has some trust issues. She'll continue progressing with someone patient who understands trauma. She'll need her own “safe place”. It doesn't have to be as elaborate as my fireplace conversion lol, as long as she can keep her current bedding. Needs a loving, stable, dog-experienced home near N. Alabama (I'm not shipping her) that will continue her progress & make her feel secure. Younger children may scare her? She tolerates my hyper-activeness & music now, but frightens with too much stimuli. Securely fenced yard & another dog are required. Please research Bichon's to understand their needs.
