My story

You may have heard of skeletons in the closet, but have you heard of Jack Skellington, the cat in the CEILING?? Our sweet guy Jack has one of the craziest origin stories, having FALLEN THROUGH THE CEILING of his former owners apartment into another unit, which led to the discovery of an entire apartment full of animals. Jack came to us from an unfortunate hoarding situation where he and 19 other cats were abandoned after their previous owner was hospitalized. Through the amazing work of local rescuers, Jack was lucky enough to get himself into rescue where he has been so thankful to have consistent food, affection, and a safe landing spot! Jack is such a sweet and affectionate guy, he totally lives up to his big teddy bear features and loves a big hug. He is also happy to give lots of head bumps and get kisses from you. One of his favorite spots is directly in the sunshine, where he can soak up some rays and take a snooze. Because he is from a hoarding situation, he is very good with other cats and would be the most successful in a home that already has other friendly cat pals. He is still figuring out the whole toy situation, but we think over time he will probably get the hang of the indoor cat luxuries! And if you're looking for those classic Siamese traits, yes he does love to meow for pets and attention!  Jack needs a home with older kiddos who are cat savvy or an adults only home, as he likely hasn't spent much time with small humans previously and can be slower to warm up to new faces. This guy is very resilient and so ready for a steady home where he can get all the love and care he needs. Please apply for him today!
