My story

ALL ABOUT ME Name: Holly Age: 9 months old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Jindo Mix Colour: Brown Weight: 13.5kg / 30lbs (Expected 15–18kg fully grown) Height: Approx. 50cm at the shoulder Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY Hi, I’m Holly — a gentle soul with a quiet strength. I once wandered the streets alone, unsure where to go or who to trust. After I was reported, I ended up in a city shelter — scared, confused, and trying my best to stay small and quiet. I didn’t know I had been placed on the euthanasia list… until someone chose me. Just one day before my time ran out, I was saved. Now I’m safe, warm, and slowly learning that the world isn’t such a scary place. What I dream of next is a forever home where I can feel truly loved.   MY PERSONALITY I’m a shy and gentle girl who takes a little time to open up — but if you give me just a few days, I’ll show you my loving and loyal heart. I don’t rush into things, but I observe, learn, and grow quietly. Once I feel safe, I enjoy soft affection, peaceful company, and calm spaces. I’m a steady presence — not demanding, just looking for kindness.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS With People: I need a little time to warm up to strangers, but I’m never aggressive. I’m simply cautious. With gentle encouragement and a calm environment, I start to trust and even seek out affection. With Dogs: I greet other dogs politely and get along best with calm, similar-sized friends. I don’t always play, but I enjoy quiet companionship. With Cats: I haven’t met any cats yet, so slow introductions or a cat-free home would be ideal.   ENERGY AND ACTIVITIES I have a normal energy level — I enjoy the outdoors, walks, and exploring smells, but I also love curling up for naps and relaxing after a stroll. I sometimes pull a little on the leash, but I’m a quick learner and respond well to gentle guidance.   TRAINING & HABITS • Leash-walks: Sometimes pulls but generally follows well • Potty-trained: Uses both indoor pee pads and outdoor potty • Crate-trained: Calm and comfortable in crate • Barking: Barks occasionally to express needs, but not excessively • Food: Doesn’t guard food with people or dogs • Currently fostered in Korea, adjusting well and learning every day   MY IDEAL HOME I’m looking for a patient, quiet, and understanding home where I can blossom at my own pace. My ideal family would: • Be gentle and give me time to adjust • Understand the needs of a shy dog and provide positive socialization • Enjoy peaceful companionship, soft cuddles, and slow walks • Possibly have another calm dog friend, but I’d also be happy as your one-and-only   SPECIAL NOTES I’m a level 3–4 rescue dog — which means I’m on the shy side and need a little extra help building confidence. But I’m curious about people, and I have a naturally kind and gentle spirit. With a couple of months of socialization and love, I’ll become a devoted and affectionate companion. I’m not perfect yet — but I’m trying my best. And with you by my side, I know I can thrive.   Holly's YouTube Playlist ##2561732##
