My story

Hello! My name is Fig!I`m a fun guy! I am nervous meeting new people and will need my humans to make sure scary strangers give me space. I play fetch quite nicely and I promise you will enjoy my leaps in the air after the ball! I seem to have springs in my feet like a bunny rabbit. If you have a fenced yard, it should be ideally 5` or higher so I don`t bounce right out of it. I am affectionate and love learning new tricks, especially when you reward with yummy treats.MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES…CHILDREN: Teenagers may be ok but no young children given my sensitive nature.OTHER DOGS: I may do best as the only dog but might be able to have dog friends with slow introductions and calm dogs.CATS: No, I like to chase small things.FIRST-TIME DOG OWNERS: I would do best with someone who has previous dog experience.FENCED-IN YARD: Recommended.HOUSING ENVIRONMENT: No apartment buildings as I get nervous when strangers get in my bubble.SOMEONE HOME MOST OF THE DAY: Not necessarily, though right now I may not be an ideal match for a family that is gone for a full work day.SOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME…ACTIVITY LEVEL: Medium.
