My story

Hi there, I’m Peaches! And I’m here to tell you that your life is about to get a whole lot sweeter I’m a petite little lady—about 20 to 25 pounds of short-legged love—with a heart that’s bursting with affection and a tail that never stops wagging. The folks at the pound said I’m a Corgi/German Shepherd mix, but let’s be honest… I’m probably a delightful mystery blend of several breeds, all mixed together to create one irresistible pup (that’s me!). My story? Well, it started a little rough. I was found as a stray and brought into the pound. No one knew where I came from or how I ended up on my own, but I must’ve been someone’s beloved pet once—I’m just too sweet and snuggly not to have known love. Luckily, I only had to spend one night there before the amazing people at Central Arizona Animal Rescue came to scoop me up and give me a second chance. Talk about lucky! Now I’m safe, warm, and surrounded by doggy friends, but what I’m really dreaming of is a forever home. A place where I can curl up next to you, soak up belly rubs, and be your loyal little shadow. &#226&#156&#168 Here’s what makes me the perfect companion: I’m super affectionate and absolutely adore attention. If you’re looking for a snuggle buddy, I’m your girl. I’m low energy—no wild zoomies here! I’m happiest when I’m curled up next to you or gently playing with my kennel buddies. I’ve been spayed, I’m current on all my vaccinations, and I’ve got a microchip so I’ll never get lost again. I get along great with other dogs! I love playing and hanging out with my furry friends. I haven’t met any cats yet, so we’re not sure how I’d do with them. I might be house trained—I was definitely someone’s pet before—but even if I’m not, I’m smart and eager to please, so I’ll learn quickly! I may be small, but I’ve got a big heart and a gentle soul. I’m not the kind of dog who needs constant action or endless walks. I’m the kind who wants to be near you, quietly keeping you company, making you smile with my sweet face and loving eyes. Whether you’re watching TV, reading a book, or just enjoying a quiet afternoon, I’ll be right there, soaking up every moment. I’m also a great listener. Got a bad day? I’ll nuzzle up and remind you you’re loved. Got something to celebrate? I’ll wag my tail like crazy and do a happy dance with you. I’m here for it all—the highs, the lows, and everything in between. So if you’re looking for a little bundle of joy who’s ready to fill your life with love, laughter, and lots of snuggles, I’d love to meet you. I may have had a bumpy start, but I know the best part of my story is still ahead—and I hope it includes you. Want to meet me? Just email mike@caaronline.org to set up a time to come say hi. I’ll be waiting with bright eyes, a wagging tail, and a heart full of hope. Love, Peaches Your future cuddle queen and forever friend Let me know if you'd like a version for a flyer or social media post—I can tailor it to fit!   PLEASE e-mail (do not call) mike@caaronline.org for more information and to set up an appointment to adopt.
