My story

This stunning, soulful, blue-eyed boy is Roosevelt, but his many fans call him "Rosie." It suits his laidback personality and It also rhymes with cozy and that's just how this absolute love bug will make you feel. He'll eagerly snuggle up with you on the sofa, on your lap or alongside you when you sleep and, as he relaxes, you'll see his tongue slide out of his mouth and then hear his soft, contented snoring. He'll be your constant companion, following you around the house, "helping" you work and basking in all your attention, never tiring of having his silky coat brushed, or even receiving belly rubs! And who doesn't want to be greeted by cute little meows and endless head butts? He prefers a calm home (loud noises can startle him), but once he's comfortable, his playful side will emerge, and he'll start batting small plush toys and display his unique wiggle on the scratch pad -- especially when it's sprinkled with catnip! Want biscuits? He'll gladly whip you up a batch! Though his complete history is a mystery, we do know he was managing to survive as a stray for quite a while. He was rescued from a construction site, hungry, dehydrated, caked with dirt and sneezing up a storm. (He got his name from the nearby cross street.) But this endearing boy is fully recovered and and anxious to settle into his forever home, where he'd prefer to be your one-and-only kitty. His dream? To be adored as the love of your life. He'll more than return the affection.
