My story

LULU TUTU WATERMELON is currently being fostered in TEXAS. Lulu TuTu Watermelon has quite the rescue story! She came to us from our local shelter where she was extremely pregnant. Luckily, we were able to rescue her before she gave birth. She went into labor less than two weeks after us getting her from the shelter. She had a really hard time during labor so we had to take her to an emergency clinic where it was determined she would need a C-section. She had seven babies and they were all very large. One was stuck and passed away and another only lived a few hours. She is currently weening 5 healthy chunky babies and will be ready by November 20th for transport to Canada. It is Lulu’s turn to be the baby. She is barely 2 years old and currently weighs 11 pounds but once some of that baby weight goes away, she will probably be closer to 10. Lulu is just an all-around fantastic dog. She is not very barky, she walks great on a leash, great with all other animals and kids. She’s just a sweet and well rounded girl. Sometimes playful, silly and most times a giant cuddle bug. This girl has been through a lot and she is more than ready for her happily ever after.
