My story

Meet Mimi (and her best friend, Gigi) The Dynamic Duo of Fun and Cuddles! Mimi is a lively, affectionate kitten with a playful spirit and heart full of love! She's always on the move; chasing toys, pouncing on her foster sister Gigi, and turning every corner into a mini adventure. When playtime winds down, Mimi's favorite thing is to curl up in your arms for some serious snuggle time. She loves being held, and will happily purr herself to sleep against you. Mimi and Gigi are a perfect pair. They chase each other, wrestle, and go absolutely wild for wand toys. They're full of kitten energy, curiosity and affection, and they balance each other beautifully. These two are looking for a forever home together, where they can keep each other entertained and share their endless love with their new family. CCR adopts to forever homes in Chicago or the very near suburbs that are within 10 miles of our respective Chicago foster families. Most of our foster families reside on the north side of the city. We love our cats and we pledge support for the rest of their lives, which is why our location limits are in place. We appreciate your understanding. If you are outside of these limits, please check petfinder.com, which allows searching by zip code, for cats closer to your home. At Chicago Cat Rescue, we are dedicated to both the physical and emotional well-being of the cats and kittens in our care. For this reason, unless expressly stated, we do not place cats or kittens in homes where they will be the only cat. In our experience, most cats love the company of other cats, and can become quite lonely when living alone. Kittens will only be placed in pairs, or to join another kitten or young cat in your home. Chicago Cat Rescue is an entirely foster based organization. Our ability to help more cats in need is dependent on our availability of foster homes.
