My story

IDGSR Welcomes GAIA into the safety of the rescue!! THIS DOG IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE & AVAILABLE FOR TRANSPORT ************** Hiya Friends! My name is Gaia and I'm the most adorable 4-month old 18-pound little girl you've ever seen! I'm located near Nashville TN and will be available for transport. Quick Facts: Age - 4-months old Kids - will do fine with kids Dogs - great with other dogs Cats - never been around cats Training - needs obedience training 1. You may be wondering why a little terrier mix like myself is in a German Shepherd rescue... well, I'm a German Shepherd in disguise!! I have the coloring of a GS but I'm micro size! 2. I came into the rescue from a scary shelter that didn't help me in my time of need. In my short little life, I had an injury to my back leg. Don't worry!! It's healed well but I won't be running any marathons in my life. 3. As you can see in my videos, I'm quite spunky. I'm sassy, silly, playful, energetic, and great with other dogs. 4. I have been working on house & crate training. It's a slow process but I'm getting the hang of it. 5. When I'm a little bigger, will you paw-promise to teach me obedience commands? I'm a smart girl & will catch on quickly! 6. If you have been wanting a pup that looks like a German Shepherd but that's pocket size, one that is goofy, friendly, and you can hold like a baby - I'm your girl!! **SERIOUS APPLICANTS ONLY! If you are not 100% ready to adopt, please wait** ************** ***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION*** -ALL dogs are fostered in TENNESSEE unless otherwise noted -We do transport dogs to the east coast; a transport fee will apply -All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered -Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter -An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog -Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY -Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications -All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time -Not able to adopt? Consider FOSTERING one of our wonderful dogs! Adoption Application: https://www.idgsr.org/apply-to-adopt NOTE: Please remain on the application page until you receive notice your application has gone through. Thank you for considering adopting this wonderful dog! Donations help us care for all of the dogs in our program. Any donation is greatly appreciated and can be made here: https://www.idgsr.org/support-us

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Gaia (4mo PUPPY), please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
