PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING We are posting Misty on behalf of her senior rescuer who is no longer able to care for her dogs and is forced to rehome her pets due to long term health issues. Our rescue will also help by sending our adoption application and help her evaluate each applicant. ABOUT MISTY Misty is 6 yrs old and weighs approximately 17 lbs. Her soft coat has the benifit of being non shed. Misty was rescued from a young drug addicted woman who ended up at her local Er. Sadly, Misty was left alone in the apartment for a full 5 days prior to being rescued. Nevertheless, Misty is a loving, affectionate little gal who still trusts all humans. She has an excellent temperament all around. She is gentle and very affectionate, very sociable with other dogs and trustworthy with dog savvy cats. She is leash trained and has an excellent recall. However, she would chase wild life so she must be kept on leash when outdoor in unfenced areas. She is housebroken and peepad trained She is non destructive and can safely be given free range in the house. Misty is calm and quiet although, she will bark to alert when someone knocks at the door. She is an easy dog to care for and fall in love with.
