My story

♥&#239&#184&#143 Meet Cassie, a gentle, resilient tripod ready for her second chance    Cassie’s life changed in an instant. She was found running loose in a subdivision off Cockrell Hill after multiple neighborhood dogs had already been hit by cars. With police assistance, TexasACR stepped in, and learned Cassie had not only been struck, but had previously been hit with a bat by a neighbor.   Despite all she endured, Cassie never lost her sweetness.   Her leg was so severely damaged that surgeons had no choice but to amputate. She handled surgery like a champ and has recovered beautifully, now navigating life as a tripod with ease, joy, and confidence.   Today, Cassie is safe in foster care and thriving. She is house trained, rides wonderfully in the car, loves to play, and has a gentle, loving personality. She has been wonderful with people and other dogs, and her forgiving spirit is nothing short of inspiring.
