My story

Zip is a big, loveable, friendly boy that`s ready to find his forever home! Although he can sometimes be a little shy at first, especially in new environments, but once he`s comfortable he turns into a sweet goofy boy and loves to make new friends! Zip is looking for a family who’s ready for a large boy with puppy energy, with lots of time playing, cuddles and training. If you’re searching for a silly, sweet companion to brighten your days, Zip is your guy!IN-SHELTER NOTES & IDEAL HOMESIZE:52lbs and still growing!HOME TYPE:Any.CHILDREN:Yes- Older Children with large dog experience potentially compatible.CATS & SMALL ANIMALS:Yes- Cats potentially compatible with slow proper introduction.OTHER DOGS:Yes- Dogs potentially compatible.ACTIVITY/ENERGY LEVEL:High; will need a lot of daily exercise, enrichment and mental stimulation.HUMAN COMPATIBILTY:First time dog owner possible. TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/NEEDS:At least three in-person training sessions to work on socialization, basic training, pushy behaviours and manners.HUMAN SOCIAL IN SHELTER:Very human social. He can be pushy and jumpy when he wants attention but he is just one big puppy!FAVOURITE THINGS:Loves people and food!
