Her previous owner had to move into long-term care, and since then, Lola has been living in unstable conditions—mostly outdoors with very little attention or comfort. Now, she’s urgently looking for a safe, loving home where she can heal and thrive.  Despite everything Lola has been through,  she loves cuddles, giving kisses, playing ball, and going on walks. She forms strong bonds with people who show her kindness and thrives on human connection. Because of the stress she’s endured, Lola currently experiences separation anxiety and can be clingy—she just wants to know she’s not going to be left behind again.  She needs a calm, patient home with no other pets, as she’s reactive around animals due to her stress. A stable environment, gentle routines, and someone who can work with her on leash training and building confidence will help her flourish. She’s strong, smart, and eager to please—she just needs someone willing to give her the time and reassurance she deserves.  Lola would make a wonderful hiking buddy, a devoted companion, and a snuggly best friend.
