My story

Meet this sweet young mama who came to us with her puppies after being found on a patio in someone’s neighborhood. Though small in size, she was fiercely protective of her babies and did an incredible job keeping them safe and loved. Her little ones have since been adopted, and now she’s finally getting the chance to just be her—and it’s been such a joy to watch her personality start to blossom. At only about a year old herself, she’s still very much a puppy at heart. She’s silly, affectionate, and has the perfect mix of sweetness and spunk. That said, she can be shy and fearful at first, often preferring to observe from a safe distance until she feels comfortable. To help her build confidence and trust, she recently started a board and train program at Sofus Dog Training to work on her obedience and overcome her avoidant tendencies—and we’re so eager to see her shine! This special girl is ready to leave her mama duties behind and enjoy a future where she gets to be the center of someone’s world.
