My story

Meet Penelope! Penelope is a sweet and affectionate cat who absolutely adores human company. With her gorgeous long fur and pretty green eyes, she’s a true beauty who turns heads, and she knows it! One of her favorite pastimes is lounging on a cozy sofa, observing the world like the queen she is. When she’s ready for love, she’ll let out a gentle meow to let you know it’s time for some pets, or maybe a brushing session (she loves those!). Right now, Penelope prefers the quiet companionship of people over the hustle and bustle of other cats. Shelter life can be a little overwhelming, so it’s possible she might be more open to feline friends in a calmer home environment, but for now, she’s happiest soaking up the spotlight all on her own. If you're looking for a loving, elegant companion who enjoys cuddles on her terms and will be your loyal shadow, Penelope might just be your perfect match. All of our cats and kittens go home spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on their core vaccines, as well as flea and tick preventatives. Each adoption also includes a 3.5-pound bag of Iams cat food and a free vet exam at one of our participating veterinary partners.
