My story

Forza Enzo!Despite his Italian name, Enzo hails from a municipal shelter in Ontario. We don’t know much about this black beauty’s past, but these days he’s adapting to “una nuova vita,” a new life, at EHS. ABOUT ENZO- In foster- Enzo is a social cat who enjoys spending his days close to his foster mom, either in the same room, curled up next to her, or even on her lap.- He’s sweet, calm, affectionate, and loves to purr when he`s relaxed and content.- Enzo is also a vocal boy who lets you know when it’s mealtime. So, don’t be late!- When Enzo has his playful moments, his favourite toy is a feather wand, with foil crinkle balls being a close second.- He loves to be pet, especially behind the ears and on his cheeks, and he enjoys cozying up with his favourite people, but he does not enjoy being picked up and prefers to be held for only a few short moments.- Enzo is very clear about his boundaries.- He can be spicy at times, and he has been known to swat when he needs to be left alone or if he just doesn’t want to be petted. It’s best to watch his body language to recognize when he’s had enough.- He’s friendly with visitors to his foster home, but he has not interacted with children to date.- Like many cats, he can be startled by loud noises. - Enzo is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.ENZO’S IDEAL HOME- Enzo would do best in a calm, quiet environment without young children.- He must be the only cat in the household.- He will benefit greatly from a patient adopter who is willing to earn Enzo’s trust as he adapts to a new home. Enzo may be distant and aloof for a few weeks. However, once he is comfortable and settled, Enzo will be a loving and loyal lap cat companion for life.- His adopter should have previous experience with cats and be able to read a cat’s body language.Enzo is looking for the forever home of his dreams. Could you be the one to make that dream come true? Fill out an adoption application for Enzo today! If you have any questions about Enzo or the adoption process, please contact cats@etobicokehumanesociety.com

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Enzo, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
