My story

EDGAR is currently being fostered in TEXAS. Edgar is apx 10-12 years old and 10.5 pounds, short and stout. Edgar came from a bad hoarding situation where he lived his entire life outdoors. He has never had a real home, his own beds, blankies, never had a lot of attention or love. He wants so badly to be someone’s world. He is such a good boy, very sweet and gentle. He acts shy at first but quickly melts in your arms. He loves cuddles and will be a total cough potato. He is super low key. He just wants to finally have the good life. Edgar did have a much needed dental. He will walk on leash and harness. He is doing good with potty manners at the ranch but when he first got here he did mark a bit so a belly band during that first couple weeks of adjusting may be needed. He is starting to get a bit of cataract in both eyes but sees and hears fine. He is good with cats and other low key dogs. He has no patience for puppies anymore and although will not hurt a puppy he will growl and grumble. He’s over puppies or hyper dogs jumping all over him and being in his face. He needs a home with other senior dogs that are more his pace, or an only dog. Edgar really requires minimal exercise so he would also be a fine dog to have in a condo or apt living . He does love his sun baths and fresh blankets from the dryer. He deserves this! He deserves his happily ever after. He has waited for you his entire life.
