My story

The Shelter Scaries never stop! Especially for our introverts like Lira. We love her so much. Life has not been kind to her if we are judging by her physical condition. She has this open wound on her neck from whatever was used to tie her out or maybe something worse. She’s also been used to produce puppies. It is not a surprise Lira was shell shocked and nervous when she landed at the shelter. Humans have failed her. Her tail never untucks but she still craves cuddles. Lira won’t take treats outside but will in her kennel. Outside time is for snuggles. Lira will lay her head on us for as many pets as we can provide. She needs time and love and a quiet home to come out of this shell she’s stuck in.
