Bubba Gump Shrimp

My story

Bubba Gump Shrimp is the most adorable little pirate kitty ever and he's ready to find his treasure, a forever home! Born in foster care to his mama, Rainforest Cafe, Bubba Gump Shrimp has a whole litter of siblings (Hard Rock Cafe, Black Bear Diner, Chuck E Cheese, and Señor Frog) who are his best pals! Bubba is one of the bigger kitties in the crew, looking very similar to his brother, Chuck although Bubba has swirls instead of stripes in his coat. Bubba Gump Shrimp is so playful and sweet, found often chasing mouse toys across the floor and scratching and climbing the cat tree. He also loves a cuddle puddle, snuggling into a kitty bed with his sibs. He is happy to be picked up and cuddled with as he's been raised in foster care with lots of handling.  You might be asking, why is Bubba Gump Shrimp a pirate kitten? Bubba Gump Shrimp and his siblings are special needs cats after being born with eyelid agnesis (missing part of their upper eyelids) and having their eyes open at birth. Throughout the last few months, they have also experienced some fur growing downward into their eyes. Because of this, the entire litter recently underwent surgery to cauterize the furs near their eyes so they can see clearly and get the fur off their eyes. Bubba had one eye that was unfortunately not viable, which was removed to help him be more comfortable and healthy in the long run. Because of this condition, Bubba's remaining eye requires twice daily eye lubricant (non prescription, available on Chewy or Amazon, ~$13 a bottle) to keep it hydrated and healthy. His needs are fairly straightforward, but require consistency so we are seeking committed and understanding adopters who are willing to add just a quick extra step to their daily routines and support the long term eye health needs of Bubba.  Bubba Gump Shrimp's ideal home would be with one of his siblings, but he would also do great befriending another kitty pal in his forever home. He hasn't yet met any children or dogs in foster care, but his confidence will help him fit into a wide array of families. Who doesn't want a little pirate pal?? Please apply for Bubba today! PS.
