Loki may have had a tough start in life, but you wouldn't know it from her big heart and playful spirit. She was rescued from MCACC after being found as a stray. This beautiful girl has shown nothing but sweetness and love since joining her foster family. She bonded with the family's older pitbull, Jaxxson, immediately, and has become the perfect playmate. She is full of energy, a goofball roughhousing around, and endless tail wags. Loki loves to play, chew on her favorite toys, and be right in the middle of the fun. Chew toys are a MUST for this girl. They help her stay calm and happy. When she gets excited, she sometimes forgets how big she is and may try to jump up for attention or sneak onto your lap for cuddles (she seems to think she is a tiny lap dog). Because of her size and energy level, she would do best in a home without small children or elderly individuals. Loki is great on a harness once it is on, though she can be a little wiggly during the process and nail trims are best left to the vet. Loki hasn't had much experience with cats or small dogs, and because of her playful, big-dog energy, she's better suited in a home without them. At home, Loki is happy to curl up and sleep in her bed or on a cozy dog bed. She's house broken and does great with loud noises. While she is not crate trained, she is calm and comfortable on her own. She would love someone patient to teach her all she can to learn and grow. And those stunning ice-blue eyes are captivating! Loki is loyal, loving, always thrilled to see her favorite humans, and has a heart of gold. She is looking for a forever home that will give her plenty of playtime, attention and patience.
