My story

Brue is a sweet and spunky girl with the brains to match her bounce! Most likely a Chihuahua and Cattle Dog mix, Brue is a beautiful blend of intelligence, loyalty, and energy. She’s one of those dogs who is always ready to learn — she already knows sit, down, come, and more! Her eager-to-please nature makes her a joy to train and a wonderful companion for someone who wants a smart, engaged dog.Brue walks well on a leash and loves to get out and explore, but she’s also carrying a few extra pounds that slow her down just a little. While she’s still very active, her future family will need to help her shed that weight through regular exercise and a healthy diet. She’s ready to feel her best — and with your help, she will!Her personality? Incredibly sweet and wonderfully submissive. Brue is a belly-rub queen who’s always rolling over to show you her soft side (literally). Despite her energy, she hasn’t shown any destructive behavior at the shelter, which speaks volumes about her temperament and ability to settle into a routine.Brue would likely do well with other dogs, but like with all our pups, a meet and greet is required if you already have a canine companion at home.
