Cobbler

My story

COBBLER is currently being fostered in TEXAS. Cobbler is a chi/terrier mix. He is apx 1 yr old and 8.7 pounds and a goof ball. Cobbler was rescued from a very bad hoarding situation so he is still learning to DOG but he is doing very well. He is still very young and will acclimate quickly to a new and better life. He is quite the showman. He tries to act tough as a defense mechanism, but he actually does not have a mean bone in his body. He will bark at strangers or sometimes growl at a new pack of dogs that are a little intimidating to him. As soon as someone actually bends down to say hi he will either run or play possum LOL depends on the person. Cobbler is great with other dogs. He is good with cats but as a one year-old dog, he is pretty hyper and will try and play with your cats. He is VERY playful and is still learning dog cues on when someone has had enough of his antics, so a very senior dog may not be the best for him. Although he does exhibit a good amount of energy, he is also a huge cuddle bug once he gets to know you. Cobbler may be shy the first few days in his new home and a bit skittish, so leash and harness as well as doors and gates should be used with extra caution. However we promise he will acclimate quickly and will get used to a new routine, people and places in no time.
