My story

Meet Daphne, a beautiful, gentle soul who is ready to find quiet comfort in a forever home! This sweet girl, a suspected Rottweiler mix around 3 years old, was found as a stray and was initially overwhelmed by the loud chaos of the shelter. That stressful start is now behind her! Daphne has been decompressing beautifully with an amazing foster family, and her true, loving personality is finally beginning to shine. Daphne is shy, sweet, and incredibly gentle. Once she feels safe, she leans in for affection and shows how much love she has to give. She has done well with other dogs and children, proving she can be a wonderful, low-key companion. However, Daphne has a playful side that comes out around cats—she wants to chase and play with them! Therefore, Daphne must go to a home without kitties. What Daphne needs most is patience, a soft place to land, and a family who understands that she might take a little time to fully come out of her shell.
