My story

Hello. My name is Bonita but my foster human calls me Muy Bonita! My new friend is always telling me how lovely I am and how silky my coat is. I have to admit I really do like all the attention and brushing and the kisses on my forehead! When I first met my new friend I was definitely overwhelmed! I had just delivered my babies and then sent to this stranger’s home... I did everything in my power to keep my little ones safe and I did a great job! My friend is so proud of me and promised to help me find my someone that will keep me safe and love me forever! Bonita is an intelligent and confident kitty. She is a survivor but has been thriving and enjoying indoor life. Her daily routine is eat, play, love, sleep, eat, love, play, rub my belly and chin PLEASE! Bonita enjoys chasing pingpong and felt balls and string toys! She would probably like more play time but her kittens keep hogging all the toys! Bonita’s spa day consists of soft music, a light brushing (incredibly soft fur without a lot of shedding) a good rub between her toes, a little roll in the catnip and quality time next to her person. Bonita is not shy when she is comfortable and has enjoyed the company of children. She enjoys being part of a family…1 or 2 or maybe a few? Bonita might be happiest if she could be your one and only kitty as she truly enjoys interacting with her person.Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. This will include reviewing all known medical and behavior information. ** Please note that some animals will receive numerous inquiries, sometimes more than we can process. We appreciate your understanding and patience.HOW TO ADOPT: Check the animal`s location. From Foster Care (out of shelter):1. Copy and paste the adoption survey link into a new tab on your browser: https://bit.ly/SAScatsurvey 2. Download and complete the cat survey.3. Save the survey to your device with a new file name that includes your last name. Make sure it`s filled in when opened again.4. Put the name of the cat(s) in the Subject Line of a new email. Attach your survey, add any additional information you would like us to know, and send to SASCatFosterAdoption@seattle.govFrom Cat Adoption/Cattery/Free Roaming Room (in shelter):To meet this cat please come to Seattle Animal Shelter at 2061 15th Ave W, Seattle, WA 98119,
