My story

Morgan is a sweet boy who can be a little unsure when meeting new people. He’ll need some patience, understanding, and maybe even a few visits to build up his confidence. Once Morgan feels comfortable, though, you’ll see his true personality shine through—he’s playful, affectionate, and full of puppy-like energy! He loves to zoom around and soak up all the attention from the people he trusts.Morgan is searching for a loving home that will give him the time he needs to come out of his shell and the space to show off his silly, joyful side. If you’re willing to go slow at first, you’ll be rewarded with a loyal, fun, and loving companion.IN-SHELTER NOTES & IDEAL HOMESIZE:56 lbs.HOME TYPE:House or Townhouse - No Apartments due to nervousness CHILDREN:Near adult age children due to touch sensitivity and anxiety.CATS & SMALL ANIMALS:Yes - cats potentially compatible with slow proper introduction.OTHER DOGS:Yes - dogs potentially compatible with slow proper introduction.ACTIVITY/ENERGY LEVEL:High; will need excessive amounts of daily exercise, enrichment and mental stimulation. HUMAN COMPATIBILTY:Adopter with previous large dog experience due to him being shy/timid. TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/NEEDS:At least three in-person training sessions to work on socialization, basic training, manners, and desensitization.HUMAN SOCIAL IN SHELTER:Nervous / Shy when meeting new people. May require multiple meets to get comfortable.FAVOURITE THINGS:Zooming around with his favourite people!
