Meet Janis! These two tiny cuties were rescued thanks to a kind-hearted animal lover. While bringing her dog to the vet clinic, she spotted Jerry and Janis on the side of the road, scooped them up, and made sure they got to safety. The clinic then called our rescue, and now these little sweethearts are safe, loved, and ready to find forever homes! At just 7 weeks old, Jerry and Janis are everything you’d hope for in kittens—very friendly, playful, and incredibly sweet. They love cuddles, exploring, and of course, playing with each other. Jerry and Janis would absolutely love to be adopted together, but it’s not required. If adopted separately, they’ll need another young cat or playful kitty companion in the home to keep them company and help them grow up happy and social. They’ll soon be ready to go to their forever families—could that be you? Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, up to date shots, Microchip, Alabama Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new family pet to you. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application. Please be advised that our volunteers are busy rescuing, transporting, and caring for our animals. We will respond to your application as soon as possible. Upon review of your application, the rescue in AL will contact you, so you can ask any specific questions that you may have. NOTE: All Paws of Dixie animals are located in AL foster homes. They will be transported north after adoption.
