OLLIE

My story

Ollie was recently rescued and needs  a foster home! Read his story on the FOSER page of our website https://betterdaysrescue.org   Ollie appears to be a mix of shepherd and a larger herding breed such as Great Pyrenees (and has the back dewclaws to prove it - those will be removed on neuter day!) Ollie is sweet, gentle, and playful. He needs a dog friend in his new home, and would really enjoy gentle children who are middle-school aged or older (he's currently approaching 40 lbs. and is expected to grow to be 55++).   Ollie would love to live with people who enjoy camping, hiking, and backyard fun. He's very young but is very intelligent and a quick learner. Ollie's leash manners are coming along well and he enjoys playing with his new dog friends. He continually demonstrates that he wants to learn what he is shown and he is a delight to be with. If you are home most of the day and have the time and inclination to welcome a spectacular young dog into your family, consider all that Ollie has to offer.    Ollie will be placed in the Phoenix metro area, for proximity to our rescue (home checks, follow up visits, visit to finalize adoption) and for access to our veterinarian. Sorry, no exceptions.
