My story

Meet Clay - a a very cute one year old and 41 lb pitbull mix with a heart as big as his smile. Despite a very hard start in life, this young boy has held on to his happy, loving spirit. Clay was rescued as part of a cruelty case after being abused by his former owner. But you&#39d never know it by meeting him--he trusts people completely and greets everyone, big or small, with warmth and affection. Clay is a true cuddlebug who just wants to be by your side and soak up all the love he can get. He&#39s playful and happy-go-lucky, always ready to run, chase a ball, or romp around with his friends. He&#39s wonderful with other dogs and would be thrilled to have a playmate. Clay is also very smart, learning his commands quickly, and walks nicely on a leash--making him a wonderful companion for strolls and adventures. When it&#39s time to relax, Clay is happiest snuggled up next to his people, knowing he&#39s safe and cherished. He is crate and house trained, fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped--ready for his forever home. Right now, Clay is waiting in boarding, dreaming of the day he&#39ll finally have a family or foster of his very own.
