Delilah

My story

Meet Delilah! This sweet pup is full of personality and learning every day. When she first goes into her crate, she may bark and whine a little, but once she settles, she’s content to relax. Delilah already knows “come” and “go potty,” and she’s working on mastering “sit.” She currently lives with two teens (ages 15 and 18) and absolutely adores them. While it takes her a little time to calm down for cuddle sessions, once she does, she’s all about belly rubs, snuggles, and plenty of kisses. Delilah greets new people with excitement, sometimes with a few barks and happy jumps, always in a playful way. Like any growing pup, she’s losing her baby teeth and enjoys chewing on her bones. She’s also learning to play fetch with a tennis ball, though sometimes she’d rather just bat it around the yard for fun! Curious, playful, and smart, Delilah loves “snoopervising” her people as they go about their day. She’s a total sweetheart, and any home would be lucky to welcome her into the family. Delilah has an adoption investment of $500. Delilah's higher adoption investment does not mean we value her life more than others. We do not see dogs like Delilah enter our care very often. Therefore, her higher adoption investment will help create a financial legacy for the dogs that stay in our care for longer periods of time or require significant medical investment.
