My story

Meet Bibi – Looking for Her Forever Home! Age: 8 months Weight: 8.2 kg (18 lbs) Breed: Mix Color: Brown / Black / White Sex: Spayed Female Height: ~40 cm (shoulder height)   Rescue Story   Bibi was rescued from a city shelter just before euthanasia. She’s now safe, healthy, and ready to find her forever family.   Personality & Temperament   Bibi is a sweet, affectionate girl who loves people — but she can be a little shy with strangers at first. If someone approaches too quickly, she may bark defensively (a typical teenage dog behavior!), but this passes very quickly. Within just half a day, she warms up and becomes a total cuddle bug.   She has attended doggy kindergarten, where she had a male trainer — so she bonds well with men too. She is good with children under 13 but may feel nervous at the first meeting, so slow introductions work best. She can be picked up safely by placing an arm under her belly, and once she trusts you, she will roll over and show you her belly.   Socialization with Dogs   Bibi is very friendly with other dogs — she not only greets them politely but also invites them to play. She grew up with another shelter dog, Heidi, who would sometimes pester her, but Bibi tolerated it well and played back. She has no history of fighting and avoids overly hyper dogs if she needs space.   Socialization with Cats (and Others)   Bibi has briefly lived with a cat and showed little interest. She has also met rabbits — she did chase when they ran, but only out of curiosity, not aggression.   Energy Level   Bibi has a moderate energy level — she enjoys outdoor playtime and exploring but relaxes calmly afterward.   Walking & Outdoor Habits   Bibi is still new to leash walking and sometimes stops to observe her surroundings, but she does not panic or try to bolt. She enjoys sniffing more than walking in a straight line, so she takes a “stop-and-go” style walk.   Other Behavior • No resource guarding toward people or dogs (she loves food!). • No separation anxiety — she stays calm when left alone. • Mild alert barking with strangers, but stops once she has had time to sniff and investigate. • Good traveler: she is calm in a kennel and sits quietly in the car. • Potty trained for outdoors.   Ideal Home   Bibi would thrive in a home where her people give her time to build trust and allow her to adjust at her own pace. Another friendly dog would be a bonus, as she enjoys canine company. Send in your application through our website to adopt Bibi and give her the forever home she deserves! Please also visit our Facebook or Instagram. Currently in Korea – available for adoption overseas (Canada/USA) ##2527307##
