My story

Hi, I’m Nora 🐾💛 I’m a 2-year-old female Jindo mix, weighing about 17kg. With my soft, retriever-like looks and calm, gentle personality, people say I’m as beautiful on the inside as I am on the outside. I was rescued just before being euthanized at a shelter, but you’d never guess that by meeting me. I still believe in people. I still love being around them. In fact, I adore humans — I’ll come up to you with my tail wagging, nudge in close for cuddles, and happily lean into your arms if you let me. I bond quickly and love deeply. I get along well with other dogs, and I don’t like to fight — I prefer peace, play, and a quiet kind of joy. I’m still a bit puppy-like in my innocence and playfulness, which I think just adds to my charm. I may have had a rough start, but my heart is still full of hope and sweetness. I haven’t lived in a home before, so I’ll need some help with potty training and learning house routines. But I’m smart and eager to learn — if you teach me with patience and love, I promise I’ll do my best every single day. New places might make me a little shy at first, but give me a little time and I’ll settle in beautifully. On walks, I’m calm and well-mannered — I don’t pull on the leash, and I walk right beside you like I’ve been doing it all my life. I’m curious about the world, but I don’t get overly excited — I listen well and stay connected with you. At home, I’m happiest just being near you. I’ll quietly come over to rest my head on your lap or curl up close by. I love the comfort of being with someone I trust. If I have to be alone, I might get a bit unsure at first, but once I understand your rhythm and feel safe, I’ll grow more confident every day. More than anything, I want a family to love. Even after everything I’ve been through, I still look at people with soft, trusting eyes, hoping for someone who will see me, believe in me, and never let me go. If you’re looking for a gentle soul who will always be by your side — with quiet loyalty, tender affection, and the kind of love that makes a house feel like home — then maybe I’m the one for you. Will you be my forever? With all my heart, Nora 🐶💕

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Nora, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
