My story

Hi, I’m Caramel 🐶🍯 I’m a 1.5-year-old female Brittany Spaniel with a small and gentle 15kg frame — just the right size for adventure, cuddles, and everything in between. I haven’t had the easiest start in life. I was used as a breeding dog in a puppy mill and had my first litter when I was still just a baby myself. I lived in harsh conditions, without love or care, but everything changed when I was rescued. Since arriving at a training center, I’ve been rediscovering what it means to feel safe, and let me tell you — I’m thriving. Now, I’m cheerful, social, and full of gentle energy. I get along well with other dogs and even approach new people with a happy wag and bright eyes. I love connecting with humans — I open my heart quickly, and once I do, I’ll greet you with affection and loyalty that runs deep. Like most Brittany Spaniels, I’m smart, curious, and eager to please. I’m happiest when I know I’ve made you happy, so I respond really well to consistent routines and positive reinforcement. I don’t do well with harsh corrections — gentle guidance and encouragement bring out the best in me. I’m also not overly high-energy, but I do need daily walks and playtime to stay balanced and content. When I’ve had a bit of fun outside, I settle down easily at home, happy to rest nearby. Since I’ve never lived in a real home before, I’ll need a little help with things like potty training and adjusting to a home environment. But don’t worry — I’m clever, motivated, and ready to learn. I just need someone willing to guide me with love and patience. I’ve been through a lot, but I still believe in people. I believe there’s a family out there who will look into my kind, hopeful eyes and say, “You’re home now.” Could that family be you? With love and so much hope, Caramel 🐾💛
